You may encounter large groups of errors of the form "Task X <Process> has inconsistent values for scheduling fields (either all values should be positive or all values should be non-positive)
Quick Fix - Set all equipment back to the default Source Quantity Field
This error occurs when you have some equipment configured to not use the default Source Quantity field and the chosen field has inconsistent values with the default or with another selected Source Quantity field for another piece of equipment for the same process.
While all equipment does not need to have the same source quantity field for a process they do need to be consistently both positive or both negative/zero. So typically it is recommended that both values have a common origin. For example one piece of equipment might schedule cubic metres while another could have a quantity for the same process in tonnes. Ideally we want these tonnes to be derived from the volume used by the other equipment or from a volume linked to this field. This will ensure that for the same records the values are all positive or all-negative
The situation we need to avoid in this example is one where there is a positive volume and a zero or negative tonnage (or vice versa) which can happen if the calculations are completely independent.
