Quick How-to Guide
Spry has a check box that allows dependencies to be converted into constraints.
Note: Dependencies work on tasks while Constraints work on the equipment.
Basically, under any dependency in Spry that you would like to convert into a Constraint, you can check the box next to Act As Constraint as per below.
This enables selection of the equipment filter that you want the Constraint to be applied to.
Furthermore, you can select the Start and End time for this Constraint by applying the relevant filters to your desired Start and End times to choose the period that the Constraint applies to.
Pros:
- Allows you to model close to real-behaviour (set up distance limits, etc.)
- Equipment specific
Cons:
- Highly detailed
- Evaluated separately for each piece of equipment
